The foundation of a Muslim's beliefs and practices is the second pillar of Islam or salah. It places a strong emphasis on spiritual development, discipline, and a relationship with Allah. Maintaining awareness of Allah in daily life is facilitated by praying salah five times a day as directed. Indeed, the Second Pillar of Islam promotes harmony and tranquilly in the community and within the individual by reinforcing the connection between the Creator and His creation and reminding us of our purpose.
