Next came the many Wordle parodies. Among these is the cunning word game Dordle, which forbids simple off-target. You may only enter one word guess at a time, however you have to simultaneously guess two five-letter words. Play it to find it.

Since the game erupted early this year, wordle fever has somewhat subsided, but I still play every day. I was also daily playing four- and eight-word versions at one time. I now count only two: Wordle and Dordle. 

Dordle comes from Guilherme Tows, an independent game developer running under the moniker Zaratustra Productions. Said as "wordle plus wordle," Tows credits Wordle for motivating Dordle.

After easily defeating the first Dordle I attempted, I felt really confident. If you choose the "free dordle" option, Dordle allows you keep playing with fresh problems unlike Wordle. I then attempted the next one, got the word on the right side accurate and completely biffed the word on the left. The luck of my beginning did not hold.
